Get Creative

Develop your creative potential. Begin to express yourself in music, art or dance and you might experience increased self esteem, reduced anxiety and greater satisfaction in life.

The practitioners of music, art and dance therapy have long demonstrated the beneficial effects of creative expression. People engaged in acts of creation have found outlets for their preverbal and unconscious impulses and appear to release tensions and anxieties. Creative expression helps us feel connected to the world. It is a channel of communication that may be available even when all others seem to be blocked.

Write in a journal, plant a garden, knit or sew. Sing, sculpt, act or build something. Express yourself in cooking or rearrange your furniture. Get creative. Express yourself.
